Repeat Prescriptions
There is no need to see a doctor to request your prescription. Prescriptions for drugs which have been authorised as a repeat prescription by the doctor may be ordered by:
- Online: via the link at the top of this page (registration required).
- Telephone: Monday to Friday between 10.30 to 2.30pm and 3.00pm to 5.45pm.
- Post: Please enclose a stamped address envelope with your prescription request.
- In Person: by handing a written request at any time during reception hours.
Most chemists in the area do a home delivery service for patients who are housebound or too ill to collect their prescription. Please enquire at the chemist of your choice.
Please allow 48 working hours for prescriptions to be processed and ready for collection
Medication Reviews
Repeat Prescriptions will be reviewed every 6 months. You will be informed by the receptionist when your review date is due. A reminder message is printed on your prescription.
It is the patient’s responsibility to attend. Patients who fail to do so may find their prescriptions request refused until they attend their review appointment.
